Highlights
- The Project leader manages all phases of international social market research projects, from acquisition through execution and client delivery.
- The Project leader is responsible for understanding client requirements, design and management of research, coordination and supervision of the project team (Project Assistant, sub-contracted agencies) and delivery of results.
- The Project leader reinforces existing relationships with client.
- The Project leader will work independently, reporting to the Research Director.
Job Profile
- Preparing and generating proposals
- Communicating with clients to understand and document the research objectives
- Developing study design and selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques
- Outlining fieldwork plan with Project Leaders and Project Assistants
- Supervising fieldwork planning, co-ordination and advising in case of any fieldwork related issues
- Outlining analysis plan with Project Leaders and Project Assistants
- Supervising coding and analysis
- Analysis of data and results (statistical analysis and report content analysis)
- Preparation of global (and local) reports in collaboration with Directors and Managers
- Preparation of executive summaries.
- Training of Project Assistants
- Advising all team members where requested
Your Profile
Professional experience:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of ad hoc market research experience and a passionate interest in the field.
- The candidate should be experienced in using a wide range of market research techniques and skilled in data analysis, synthesizing and reporting findings with a business orientation.
- The candidate should have a proven in-depth methodological expertise.
- The candidate should have experience in serving as main client contact and running of international market research projects.
Communication and leadership skills:
- The candidate must be a good communicator (both verbally and in writing) and an accomplished ‘presenter’ for clients.
- The candidate should have experience in coordinating project teams and be resistant to stress in the face of peak workloads.
- The candidate should have a flexible nature, be used to managing several tasks simultaneously, be well organized, work efficiently and rapidly, with experience in managing and sticking to deadlines.
Education, technical and language skills:
- The candidate should have a university degree (bachelors, minimum) or higher academic degree.
- The candidate should be a strong user of MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and SPSS. Knowledge of additional market research data analysis tools is a plus.
- The candidate must be fluent in English (written & spoken). Fluency in other major European languages is a plus.
Further requirements:
- The position is located in Leuven (Belgium) and might require occasional travel.
