In order to contribute to the development of its branch-office in Belgium, we are looking for a Research Executive.

PURPOSE
  • To be an effective team member to the business unit and Division, in the design, set up and management of research projects and administrative tasks.
  • To learn and master the research basics and undertake project management tasks with supervision.

OUTPUTS/ACCOUNTABILITY
  • Takes control of one’s job problems and standard of work, seeking assistance as required
  • Work the data; check simple data accurately and make logical recommendations
  • Draft basic proposals, reports and presentations, displaying appropriate knowledge for experience level
  • Maintain client relationships by liaising effectively with clients on project-related information and progress updates/preparing weekly reports.
  • Learn and demonstrate high standards of client service
  • Keep abreast of current trends within market research and media industry, in order to develop personal skills/knowledge base
  • Keenness to learn and proactive about self-development and development of others

 

RELATIONSHIPS & DEVELOPMENT
  • Effective interface with Operations and Corporate departments and external suppliers
  • Promote teamwork in the business unit, Division and across Ipsos
  • Refer to manager for research advice
  • Behave in a manner that displays professionalism, integrity and corporate citizenship at all times
  • Develop a good breadth of experience of different research techniques and types of clients
  • Confidence and demonstrated capabilities in applying different tools, techniques and approaches

EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous market research exposure and experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of basic statistics an advantage
  • Experience in questionnaire design, table specifications and project management essential for established positions

  • Good communication skills, written and oral
  • Sound trouble-shooting skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills
