Who is Febelmar?
Febelmar, the Belgian Federation of Market Research Institutes, unites the major Belgian market research institutes and represents with the joint turnover of her 28 members about 85 % of the total expenditure in the field of marketing research in Belgium.
Our members are continuously investing in new methods and techniques in terms of collecting, processing and analysing data. Thus we constantly strive to develop our competence and knowledge of market research and marketing information. The fact that our members employ more than 700 people with higher education underlines the importance that our sector attaches to such competence. This high level of competence is well recognised abroad: more than 30 % of our activity and analyses are conducted in foreign markets.
Why a suppliers’ day?
Febelmar is active in several areas in which the interests of its members and the sector are always key. More specifically, Febelmar supports the following:
· the development and promotion of market research and opinion polls in Belgium
· protecting the sector interests
· the correct use of the deontological rules which apply to market research, and this at all phases (i.e. data collection, data analysis, communication and publication of the results)
· the continuous improvement of quality of the service in market research
Furthermore, Febelmar aims to be a platform for communication, exchange of expertise and networking among its members and all other actors of the sector.
Febelmar organises, in the context of this exchange and the expansion of her network, but also as a complimentary service to her members, for the first time a trade fair for the sector of marketing intelligence and research.
This suppliers’ day is a unique opportunity for subcontractors to get introduced to the sector and to get in contact with purchasers of their products and services. Booths, presentations, demonstrations and speed business are a guaranty for exclusive visibility.
Who are the participant exhibitors at the Febelmar suppliers’ day?
This fair trade is open for all suppliers of products and services for the sector of marketing intelligence en research, i.e. suppliers of software for data collection, analysis and reporting of research data, training specialists and consultants, field work specialists (face-to-face, online, telephone), hall- and recruitment facilitators, specialised temp and recruitment agencies, etc.
Who are the visitors of the Febelmar suppliers’ day?
The member marketing research agencies have assembled and undertaken a commitment for the organisation of this event. The Febelmar members account for more than 85 % of expenditure in the field of research in Belgium or 150 million euro and more than 700 employees and an important network of freelance specialists.
Today, approximately 50 marketing intelligence and research specialists and suppliers and/or decision makers of our members subscribed to the suppliers’ day. They are members of either the general, project or field management team.
