Solutions-2 is a small, but dynamic consultancy company. Our core business is offering statistical analysis, advice and training as well as online reporting. We mainly work for the market research, automotive, telecommunications and pharmaceutical industry. Our baseline "what you don't see, is what you get" very well describes what we do. We help clients to get more out of their data by using tools like data mining.

You will be in charge of managing and consulting on data analysis projects. This will involve creative problem solving and using multivariate and data mining techniques.
In addition, and equally important, you will further develop our toolbox and actively participate in moving the company forward.
Function description
- You like “out-of-the-box” thinking and continuously question how we could do things differently/better
- You participate in further developing new methodologies and analysis approaches
- You manage your own projects which mainly consist of applying multivariate analysis techniques (regression modelling, segmentation analysis, forecasting, trade-off analysis, brand mapping, structural equation modelling, …)
- You support the team with advice on how to approach their projects
- You decide which analysis techniques/approaches are most appropriate to answer specific clients’ questions
- You interpret, visualise and translate the results in “plain English”, i.e. in a language which can be easily understood by the client
- You communicate directly with the client to get a project brief as well as to present/run through the results and to answer any question around the methodology
Your profile
- Self-confident and enthusiastic personality who can work both in a team as well as independently
- Very proactive
- University degree
- Preferably 5 to 10 years experience as statistician, quantitative market researcher or similar role
- Strong interest/experience in quantitative analysis methods, such as multivariate analysis and data mining methodologies
- A mathematical or statistical background is preferred, but not necessary
- Experience with at least one statistical package (e.g. SPSS, SAS, Statistica)
- Good IT skills
- Knowledge of VBA, SQL or Microsoft Reporting Service is not necessary but very welcome
- Very good knowledge of English
