Solutions-2 is a small, but very dynamic consultancy company. Our core business is offering statistical analysis and advice as well as developing online reporting tools. We mainly work for the market research, automotive, telecommunications and pharmaceutical industry. Our baseline "what you don't see, is what you get" very well describes what we do. We help clients to get more out of their data, by using tools like data mining.

You will be in charge of developing online reporting tools. This will mainly involve using SQL and .NET to design, develop and publish reports.
Function description
- Together with a senior BI developer, you will manage projects which mainly consist of developing web-enabled reporting tools
- You will be responsible for developing a fully functional tool including managing the hosting and security
- This will include database architecture, programming, web site design & layout, hosting, security and server maintenance
- You develop tools which are very powerful, but simple to use and very professional in design and layout
- You will work in a small team and will therefore get a lot of responsibility
- You check your work thoroughly as the web reports will be used as input to the client’s strategic plans
- You participate in further developing new methodologies and approaches
- Occasionally, you will also assist with more general IT tasks, such as software/hardware/server updates and maintenance
Your profile
- Just graduated or 1-3 years worked as a web report developer or similar role
- Interest in quantitative analysis methods is not necessary, but preferred
- Experience in .NET 4.0, Visual Studio 2010, SQL Server 2008
- Good knowledge of C#.NET, CSS en T-SQL
- Basic skills in javascript and imaging software such as Photoshop
- Administrator skills SQL Server
- Aptitude for website design
- Good knowledge of English and Dutch
- You like “out-of-the-box” thinking and continuously question how we could do things differently/better
- Self-confident, creative and enthusiastic personality who can work both in a team as well as independently
- You like to keep up-to-date with IT tools and languages
