There are three ways of paying:
- rates according to the number of questions and the number of people interviewed
- a fee for regular studies, either based on pre-determined rates or based on the method of research (panels)
- The price agreed in the proposal – most often the case for ad-hoc studies – which accounts for the time spent by the researchers, the level of complexitiy of the fieldwork, the sample size and reporting and presentation needs.
For extensive and long agreements there will be an invoice planning arranged. Febelmar drew for ad-hoc studies standard standard terms of payment and delivery. In the sector of market research usually 50% is invoiced at the beginning of the study and the other 50% at the delivering of the result. All invoices are always cash payable.
